We would like to introduce a case where our "Ultra-Compact Gigabit Switching HUB" was adopted as the communication unit inside the small high-resolution SAR satellite No. 2 "Izanami," successfully launched by QPS Research Institute on January 25, 2021. We received inquiries about whether our product could be installed in the next-generation small satellite under development. Our product achieves "ultra-miniaturization" and "ultra-lightweight," being smaller than a business card. It was evaluated for its advantages not only in terms of functionality and performance as a communication device but also in the cost aspect of launching satellites, where the size and weight of onboard equipment are very critical. 【Case Overview】 ■ Challenge: We want to install our product in the next-generation small satellite under development. ■ Results: - Lead coating implementation, change of switching device, and passing a "gamma-ray irradiation test" for 5 years on the bare board. - Officially adopted and successfully installed in the satellite. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
